[The feed starts. Some of you might recognize the area, others might not - it's not that popular anymore. Right now, you see, Kinzo is traversing the Ilex Forest, and he's having quite the time of it. He looks fairly roughed up, for a great number of reasons, but he looks like the reason he's turning on the feed is for reasons... other than his own safety. His expression doesn't give much away. Is he worried? Is he angry? Depending on who you are, how you last left him, you might have your own reason for believing something.]

... I... need to know something. I beg of you, those of you who have the information and answers I seek-- Regardless of the events of the past few days...

Indeed...! Regardless of impostors and fantasies and of... things of that manner... [Kinzo shakes his head, raising a hand to wipe his brow.] This is-- This is of... vital importance to me. No matter what state I am in... This is... more important than that.

[Kinzo takes a breath. A long, deep breath. He stops, to lean against a tree. Though a certain someone has compared him to the madman he is to become, this is hardly the case, and right now, more than ever, it shows through the conflicted expression on his face. His Wingull, perched on his shoulder as always, looks somewhat worried, but is otherwise silent as Kinzo keeps traveling through the trees and whatnot.]

These accursed nightmares... Of all times, must they plague me now...? And why of poor, little Maria...!? What sort of monster would even dream up such a...!? And of all times, when I must deal with that damned woman, walking around with the face of my Bice...!?

...

[Kinzo takes a deep breath. He is here for a reason. He is a soldier. He is to be the Ushiromiya head. He did not come here to vent his woes. He closes his eyes and straightens himself. That damned, disgusting witch can die for all he cares - he has far more important matters to attend to, far more worrying ones.]

Someone - no, anyone! Anyone at all! Confirm for me the locations and, more importantly, health of the following people: Ushiromiya Maria, Ushiromiya Lion, and Ushiromiya Jessica. [Kinzo pauses... shuddering? Yeah, he looks visibly disturbed about something.] It is of the utmost importance that I know, at the very least, that Ushiromiya Maria is safe and that no harm has befallen her. I would greatly appreciate this information, the sooner the better at that!

[Kinzo pauses again, looking like he greatly desires to say more, but he stops there. That's enough for now. He can ask if any others are being plagued by strange nightmares another time. For now... finding out if Maria is safe is the most important thing. ... Instead, he scowls.]

... As for any who claim to be "witches" but are not, for those who steal the faces and names of those who they are not, and to any and all other liars of this manner out there... And, of course, to any who use the title "Golden Witch" and cannot even understand the origin of such a name... If your like have fallen to the very depths of hell itself...!!

I do not mind at all. Your kind deserve all of this and more.

[Kinzo can't help but chuckle back at her... Well, for his own reasons.] I suppose your bases are covered then, if you believe that much.

.... Is that so. [ Her voice noticeably grows far more cold. ] I care little of an opinion of a foolish man who deludes himself from what is right in front of his eyes.

[ battler was different okay... and she's just being tsun. she actually cares about kinzo's opinion. but she wont admit to anything of the sort out loud ]

[Beato you silly girl, men never get the tsun thing. Kinzo, for... what it's worth, at least knows it's time to lay his cards on the table - at least some of them at any rate, so he makes an *ahem* noise and hardens his gaze.]

That's the thing, isn't it? I believe you're the foolish one deluding yourself here, and in fact I'll tell you why, should you be willing to entertain me for that long.

[... Naturally, he isn't about to blurt out Lion's life story, or his own for that matter, but he does want to clear up this "I am not yet that crazy old man" issue that may or may not be relevant in her eyes.]

You would insult me and then wish for me to humor you...?! If you continue to mock me, then I have little intention of continuing this conversation further!

I ask you this not as the man who treated you and your mother as horribly as he did, not as the man who assisted in driving you to become the person you rightfully have become, to feel the things towards me you most rightfully feel... but rather, a man who hopes to stop than man from ever coming to be in the first place.

... [he's silent for a moment, this next part is... awkward. Lion started it, but this Beatrice, now that he knows - and that other one - they two, have brought it out in him. Maria as well, she's bringing it out in ways he would never have suspected from that side of the family.]

Furthermore... As your grandfather... and, yes, father as well-- If it means anything to you to hear it from me as I am now, that is. [he pauses, making an *ahem* noise.] It is... natural I wish to get to know my own flesh and blood, is it not?

[Kinzo raises an eyebrow at that, but since it seems she's going to be amiable, he won't push anything.]

... Whatever you feel comfortable telling me. For now, I can accept that much.

... [ It's true that... her riddle belonged to one person, and one person alone.There are certain things that she certainly won't tell Kinzo partly because of that. The ones who once shared a soul with her. Just what had happened on those two days... Those shall stay within Rokkenjima. That much was something that Battler wanted.

And, no matter what--Kinzo is still a good friend to her. ]

... Very well. I shall begin. However, first... Just how much has that Lion told you, I wonder...?

Lion made it clear that your stories are separate, and further made it clear to not tell me your story. It was not Lion's place to do such a thing, and I understood this completely - just like I understand it that you don't need to tell me everything. [He looks up for a moment, then back at her.] Just whatever you'd like to. That's all.

Returning to your question, however... You could say that parts of the tales that apply to both of you, pieces that apply to your mother, myself... [Kinzo pauses] And your grandmother as well; of that much, I have been well informed. At least, I have been informed as much as I can be from Lion's perspective.

I imagine yours is rather different.

..... Indeed. However, as I said, I had given up the name that was given to me shortly after discovering magic. It was my good friend Gaap that once introduced me to such a thing. And my Teacher, Virgilia, who had taught me the art of endless magic.

From the day I gave up being nothing more than a human, I would inherit the title of the one who ruled over Rokkenjima's night and take on that role. That was Beatrice.

You seem to forget that I am that man, Beatrice.

And I plan on killing him.

Redeeming him? That's too small. I plan on making it, at least in... one place, whatever you all would all it, so that those sins are never an issue to begin with.
